Updating of a heritage architecture
The architectural interventions proposed to reclassify the Wellington referral tower, while respecting the heritage nature of the building, rely on its historical function and make it possible to update its vocation. From a "machine-building", whose strategic position made it possible to manage the confluence of the railway and river networks, the switching tower was transformed into a co-office building and a cafe on the ground floor, henceforth articulating the meeting of pedestrian networks Smith Drive and the Lachine Canal Circuit.

The main additions and interventions to the building is the addition of another circulation behind the building using the existing hill. The new circulation leads to a new floor to really have an open working environment.
