A centre in the heart of Ottawa, for newly immigrants to Canada at 186 Somerset
West, Ottawa, ON. The proram is: A service oriented institution as well as a big gathering space called "the living room". The Centre has several services and staff that would assist in: Registering children for school in Canada, offer English and French classes, and help in the process of opening of a new bank account. The building is about 16 m high that consists of 5 floors above ground and one underground level that is dedicated for the “Living Room” or a multipurpose space for people to gather, socialize, or even to have classes in. While the second, third, and fourth floors have offices that would welcome the immigrants for any of the services mentioned, the fifth floor is a greenhouse that provide lots of fresh vegtables and fruits for the new immigrants.
